Would be nice if we could pin 1-3 creations to our feed
I have made a portfolio collection, and it would be nice if that could always be found at the start of my feed. Being able to pin a few things to the start of the feed would make it easier to show off what we want to quickly and easier for the visitor.
Looks like this is on the public roadmap and needs a status change to ‘planned’
@TAPgiles Sounds good from the title, but no description yet so... maybe? I personally hope we get an unlimited row on the dreamsurfing interface for pinned games (ideally we could make multiple shelves for different categories, but I can see why they might only go for one for ease of implementation)
This would be extremely helpful not just to those visiting my creations but to me as well. At the time of this post I have 701 creations. Sometimes I forget what they are called when I want to dig back and use old elements.
Oh, here's another example of why we need this. If someone else has curated a great collection that I really like and want to use a lot, that makes even less sense for me to have to put that collection inside my own collection just so I know where it is... Unless I've played it recently and can find it in my history, I will have to remember who made it or what it is called just to find it again.
This is such a good point. I'd like a whole shelf or set of shelves that I could drop my favourite dreams into so I can quickly play them or show them off. Like an alternate view you could swap to in dreamsurfing would be great - toggle between 'find new items' and 'my saved items' I can arrange, e.g. by genre.
Right now I'm having to either search for it every time (and remember to turn off the default 'not played' box) or send games I like to my own collection. That second option doesn't work as well as it sounds as it can be hard to find the collection when it gets punted down the line after more recently edited creations.
Yep, I’ve been saying this for ages. Need to be a thing. Also, just let us order the rest how we’d like. People can then just select newest first if that’s how they’d rather look at you stuff. But the pinned few would still stay at the front too
