Invert Camera X-axis option, please
Asking for a friend, I’ve already retrained myself not to need this :)
I know it may sound odd for some people but it used to be an option in some older games :p
If you’re coming from a photographer background and thinking of the 3rd person camera like it’s on a tripod, inverting both axis makes sense to the brain
Could you please add the X-axis inversion. It's just a few lines of code for you, but it will add a significant number of players that can play the game indeed. I'm among the players who need to invert both Y and X axes. I tried demo and I cannot play this game now unfortunately because of it.
I tried to connect the dualshock controller through a hardware inverter device I use for other games, but it doesn't work good with the motion sensor control then. Will wait a lot for this game to add camera X inversion to the options. Thank you.
Please add it. It's like trying to use a PC mouse left-handed! It just feels so counter-intuitive it's ruining the experience.
All these people saying that it's correct the way it is, well if it's incorporated it's not going to affect them anyway.
It seems crazy that you can put in a game but not the game designer!
I'm not a fan of inverted controls, but I'll vote just because I think Dreams also appeals to non-gamers that haven't gotten used to today's conventions. :)
I actually am asking for a friend, who hasn’t played a lot of new games lately - and he CAN use standard X axis, just would prefer the option and I saw someone ask about that in a livestream chat a while back too :)
I came here to request this.
To answer the previous commenter most 3rd person games support inverting both. Most first person games don't (Destiny is an exception). I wish they all did, it seems like such an easy thing to implement and as OP said I think of myself as controlling the camera. Thanks!!!
Oh wow! I've never quite believed it when people ask for invert-x. But the camera tripod idea makes some sense.
I'm curious, if you're used to invert-x have you not played many games for the past couple of decades? I don't remember ever seeing invert-x on a game I've played. Or maybe there are a select few that have that option and you stick to those games?
