Color blindness + animating IK/FK
Hi guys. I do a lot of characters and animation. I've been here since early access, but only just currently I found out there's actually a visual aid difference between animating with FK and IK. I simply do not see it, no matter how close I get to the TV, which is why I switch between dualshock and moves when animating.
The problem: The simple noise and imp spin is too subtle a sign when changing between these two modes. We could use with a "permanent" indicator as with the "recording" icon on the right when editing a keyframe.
Suggestion 1: Could we have an indicator of some sort saying "IK" or "FK" anywhere on the screen or near the secondary move controller?
Suggestion 2: Traditional colors for opposing ideas have been green and red for a while, but they are an issue to most color blind people. Blue and red works just as well and can better avoid accessibility issues (beat saber, for example, works great, no trouble differentiating them at all).
Since I don't know what is easier for you guys to implement, I give you these two thoughts. Let me know if I can help in any way.
are you using invert colors, go to setting and acing for cessibility for that, I wish that they could add a setting for the color of text, the white text is hard to see, im not colorblind but I get what you mean.
Same, I have perfectly normal colour vision and can only tell a difference with a side by side comparison.
I too find that the colours aren't distinctive enough, if they were more vibrant it could help with discerning them.
seconding having an icon in the top corner.
I will say, even as someone who isn't color blind, the color difference is still too subtle at a glance. And when you have a lot of parts keyed, the left/right slanted hashmarks are lost in too much visual noise.
Some visual polish in this area would be welcome to me. :)
