Ability to hide or change the opacity for the grid, while using grid snap
While sculpting, it can be really hard to see anything, while using the smallest grid on the grid snap. Being able to hide or change the opacity of the grid would help a lot.
This needs to be addressed ASAP. I'm actually surprised they still have it this way. I would prefer to have the visible grid switched off, as an option. I do use the grid, but very rarely do I use the actual dots. I just spent an hour of pure anger trying to adjust small detail, which I could not see do to the damn grid dots!!!
The grid seems to be a static bitmap texture drawn into an invisible plane, and one of the problems is that the texture is too low res, so the individual dots get too big and cover the objects too much.
I would like to see at least the option to use a finer grid, with each grid point being no larger than a couple of pixels in the screen at any time. When added to the option to change its opacity I believe this would make the grid considerably less cumbersome at high grid frequencies.
Please make it happen! it's so bad on my tv that sometimes i stop playing just because of the frustration of not seeing what i am doing, it can be a option to set the grid on an object and leave it there too, instead of moving to the next object i select.
