Starting a new sculpt with the same parameters,colors,etc.. than another sculpt
Maybe, say : if you start a new sculpt while editing a sculpt , you could inherit all the parameters color ,looseness,...from the sculpt you are editing into the new one.
The real trouble is the time it takes to resize shapes so, if they could add a feature in for percentages of sizes this would be a start. As it stands have to hit d-pad too many times scaling up and down from default size. The range of scales could at least be fixed with a +/- percentage bar (-200% or +200% based on the 0.5 m default shape scale. )
@tapgiles past too much edits this is not a fun solution ;)
Could be cool. Though you could always clone the sculpt and then edit it?
It could be very useful. It not a bad idea at all.
It would be so much more straightforward: You are in edit mode in a sculpt ,(you allready have the option to creat a new scuplt from inside a sculpt) ,so why not just carrying the parmeters and active shape and settings into the new scuplt from there ?
I've suggested something which would produce a similar result and after a bit of discussion came to the conclusion it would be best recognized as 'shape presets'
It would work sorta how you save a color mix in the tumbler, only for shapes you define instead.
however for the sake of a workaround there kinda is a way to do what youre saying already but it involves cloning over that sculpture you want the properties of and working off that deleting the clone within that sculpt (if its unwanted.)
the properties you mentioned other than color will stay the same... and there is the color picker to grab the original color or the palette. but really for the purposes you mentioned that can already be achieved fairly easily without any new feature being considered.
