Dreams unable to load, since early access, and is still happening in final release..
So i have had this bug since early access. Basically im unable to load most dreams 90 percent of the time. For example:
i will load Dreams from my playstation. Then go to browse in dreamaverse. Select a game and hit 'play'. Then the loading thing will just spin forever and never load the dream.
OR, alternatively when it DOES load a game/dream, it will often not get past the next loading screen or level, and just sit there with the spinning swirl and i cant even hit 'start' to exit out. Instead i have to hold my PS button down on my controller to exit out the application entirely.
I have tried everything i could think of to fix this. ANd have had ZERO problem with any of my other games or apps online with my playstation. so i know its not that.
I have discovered a 'work around', which has been working but is certainly NOT ideal.
In order to get things to load, i have to disconnect from my internet connection in the network settings of the playstation. then reconnect, then jump back into Dreams, and the game will load. This is the same for having it load into the next level section of a game in dreams - i will have to disconnect and reconnect, then reenter back in to Dreams for the next section to load, etc.
PLEASE someone look into this. I have heard another person with the same exact problem, and im sure there must be others. This is really really tarnishing my experience with Dreams :(
Tried playing again today, same thing happened on my first dream I dream surfed today -_- How is this such an issue? Now when i load into a dream it loads infinitely, can't press circle to back out and waiting for a dream to load does nothing. Forcing the game to close after trying to load into user's dreams is very aggravating, had I know this I would have asked for a refund...

After updating, I was able to play through The Pilgrim perfectly fine on both wifi and ethernet, yay! BUT, once I finished that I tried another dream while dream surfing, and it worked fine up until I entered the next level, causing more loading/networking issues. Once I backed out of The Pilgrim, I noticed a new networking issue notification as well. I backed out to my homespace and entered the dream surfing again to play the pumpkin dream. This is recorded on Dreams 2.06, base PS4 and on a strong wifi connection.
@Soundwave_Attack , My connection is via ethernet cable and still have had this issue always. I also did a test where i had it use wi-fi and i had the same issue still
After more testing, I found a temporary solution: using an ethernet cable. Switching to a cable connection made every dream I tried out load just fine and fast with no issues. Switching back to wifi, all my issues with loading dreams came back. Weird, since I play lots of online multiplayer games on wifi just fine. Mm, please fix!

Hello, I am a player from China. Since Dreams is not available in China, I use a Hong Kong PSN account to purchase it.
When playing, I found that when browsing the dreams made by other players, I often get stuck in the lower right corner in an infinite circle. After checking the network connection, it was found that the downloaded data was provided by AWS's CDN, and because mainland China blocked most of the AWS's IP. Hope to increase the number of CDN providers in mainland China that can prevent downloading data, thank you
SO it seems i might have spoken too soon, as this issue is still a problem for me. I have tried deleting Dreams off my system and installing it again on both my external hard drive and my internal playstation hardrive and even wiped saved data.
Do Media Molecule folks look at this forum/respond? Im new here so i dunno, but it would be cool to maybe get some insight into this issue and possible ways to correct it for me if possible

Since the update patch that was released las night, this problem has since vanished! Im stoked! I hope it stays working this way. Will update if problem arises again.
This sounds a lot like some sort of internet issue. Even if your internet generally works well, as 99% of players do not have this problem I'd recommend contacting Sony support and see if they can help you.
Cool if Mm are able to help. But I'm guessing Sony is a safer bet.
