Ps4 pro fans sound like a rocket when playing dreams
This needs to be fixed asap maybe adding a 30fps cap would do the trick
To respond to a couple of queries below:
The topic doesn't have more votes because the previous topic (that had many more responses from people who were around during Early Access) was deleted on launch along with every other feedback topic from that period.
Also, to the QA response, many other high profile PS4 games are aware of the widespread fan issues and clamp the performance of their games in ways that don't really affect the end result but massively reduce the amount of fan spin-up present. It should at least be kicked up the line and investigated on those terms as the absurd amount of noise makes using the software unpleasant, even with headphones. Issues don't get more fundamental than that.
can we add accessories to make our ps4s better to handle DREAMS?
something small to make the ps4 like a pc, like the ps2
its the ps4's fault... not media molecule
had to diassemble my ps4 just because of this, to clean it! i thought my ps4 needed more, but then i realized I wasnt alone... thank goodness i didnt take the heatsink out
I share this issue, the minute.Dreams is in the menu the fans go crazy. Switch to dash, noise stops.
Have stripped and cleaned PS4, good airflow etc. Not console related.

It common with the PlayStation 4 Pro that fans can get louder during gameplay, not only an Dreams but other title too, but there isn't anything that can be done to Dreams to remedy this as this is hardware related.
Thank you Lara L
Why are there no more comments about that issue?
It's the same issue I had last year when I got Dreams. And now with the latest update it's still an issue. I can't even enjoy anything because the fan of my PS4 Pro sounds, weill, yeah, like a rocket.
This is purely because Dreams is a processing-heavy engine. Try using framerate mode, see if that helps.
But really the only thing you can do is try to dust out the innards of your PS4 (there are youtube videos on how to do this safely).
