Mirror sculpt on puppet can't be switched off
Mirror sculpting is enabled by default but even when switching it off in the side menu the setting is ignored.
Place a puppet
Scope into the puppet
Go into sculpt mode on one arm
turn off mirror sculpt on the side menu
see immediately that there are 2 shapes to stamp/smear
Stamp or smear your shape and see the sculpt on both arms
Yeah, I’m seeing all the limbs being live clones on both puppet types by default.

I noticed something interesting :)
If you turn off the live cloning on the upper arm, it gets turned off of the lower arm. If you undo it on the hand, it’s just the hand affected. So undoing the live clone must follow the same hierarchy as the order in which the joints in the limb were connected.
You can’t make a clone live after it’s been cloned, so far as I know. But rather than redoing the connectors, you could make a new sculpt and live clone it, then group each clone with the appropriate limb and the original connectors should still work fine - you may need to turn off collision for those new Sculpts.
I tried stamping down both Deluxe and standard blank puppets, both appear to have live cloning as a default so maybe you already undid the live cloning?
That mirror setting affects the position of the puppets limbs, it’s not the same as the mirror guide in sculpt mode.
The limbs on the puppet are Live Cloned sculpts, to turn it for equip the Clone Tool and press Triangle while hovering over the individual Sculpts.
