Massive lag after deleting a certain object
I have some kind of 'play room' where I try and test poses, animations and interactions mainly with puppets. If I do major changes I clone them to keep multiple versions. From time to time I delete things that I don't need anymore to keep the room clean and the thermo low.
There is one puppet that causes a massive lag in play/test mode after deleting it that makes the creation unplayable. Even rewinding doesn't stop the lag, only leaving the creation without saving works. I tested multiple ways of deletion all resulting in that lag.
The puppet has no additional logic. I slightly changed the arm positioning and added some accessories on arms and neck.
To find the causing issue I deleted parts of the puppet one by one. I could delete the necklace and either one bracelet but NOT both bracelets at the same time. There are also rings attached to the bracelets - 1 on each. So deleting 1 ring is ok but not both.
I tried to remove the bracelets from their groups (arms, puppet) - lag
I tried to destroy them - lag
I tried to delete the puppet piece by piece (even in sculpt mode) - lag
I tried to destroy the puppet in play mode with destroyer logic - lag
It's only this puppet, it's not even one of the complex ones, and I can't get rid of it because the lag remains afterwards and makes the creation unplayable then. All I could do now was to erase all logic from it and make it immovable and invisible. But to know I have a bugged object in my creation doesn't make me feel safe with it you know…
I just wanted to check in and see if you are still encountering the issue you raised in the post?
I reduced physics on all objects in the creation and was able to delete the puppet and some more other puppets then. It seems that I can delete everything now without the lag but I don't think the issue is totally gone if physics go up again.
I have an early version of the creation that has all of the puppets and all other objects and it has no lag. The next version has the lag. It's identical to that version except having some objects of other players from the dreamiverse. So it seems the issue started right after putting in these objects but I didn't notice right away.

Thank you for reporting the issue, could you please provide us with access to this puppet that is causing the issue for you?

But I found another puppet with the same issue on that day. Deleting some attached objects caused the slowdown in play mode, some not. Surprisingly, when I deleted the unaffected objects from this puppet I could delete the other one afterwards with no problem.
Today I did some further testing. I set all my puppets to non-moveable, deleted the buggy one and everything was fine. I was applauding myself for tricking the bug…too early XD
When I made the puppets moveable again the lag returned.
Well...it's getting worse though. I deleted 2 puppets today I didn't need anymore. No lag so I carried on and later I tried to delete 2 more. But suddenly the lag happens with all remaining puppets except one.
Fortunately I saved as version yesterday where I still have the 2 puppets I deleted today and I don't lose much progress. So I tested now with this save file and it seems I can delete 2 more puppets without lag (except the ones that are already buggy) but no more. Initially I thought deleting stuff would solve the problem not feed it. :(((
Sounds odd. Video of this happening would be great, as well as an indreams link to the puppet that's causing the issue so we can test.
