Every variable name set to default!
My game (which I've spent weeks on) has had every single variable reset to the default name of "Variable". Now none of my logic works. This is a huge bug in my eyes, and I'll have to reload a previous version to jot down their individual names again. Very poor.
" I'm extremely worried that the file it's referring to is some kind of metadata file which stored all gadget/variable names."
I think it's exactly that... :((
I had the same frustrating problem on my last game, but lost only a day's worth of changes (remade it using the previous version of the game, and thanked my habit to store a new version of the game quite every day on my PS4 - since then, I double it with an online private save every so often, as said TAPgiles)

I am so sorry to hear that so much work might have been lost. Unfortunately if a creation is only saved locally it can be subject to save data corruption. We would suggest saving privately online if you don't want anyone to see your works in progress.
Yep, that's what I figured too. I certainly will start regularly uploading a private copy in future!
Mm have been in touch already, so I've provided them with the "corrupt" version to investigate.
Could be some sort of corruption on the save file for Dreams.
I'd recommend uploading privately as you work on a project to make sure you have an off-PS4 backup. And if you do that, Mm should be able to access it if you give them the indreams link maybe?
When I last edited my game yesterday evening, on saving locally, I received an "unable to find file" (or something similar), so I saved again and it worked the second time. I'm extremely worried that the file it's referring to is some kind of metadata file which stored all gadget/variable names.
To preempt your first question...
Is there any way to upload my game for you to debug without making it public and remixable? I don't want the Dreamiverse to play it in its unfinished form?
...and all keyframe names reset to default.
All tags and microchip names also have reset to default. I am not very happy right now!
