Animations permanently destroyed without ability to undo
Take a puppet and give it some nice animations
Press triangle on the object just above the hips
You are now in the “reposition” connectors mode.
After doing this all animations to the parts above the hips hips in the animation hierarchy are gone.
Pressing undo does nothing.
This is on a puppet

Thank you for the feedback, however we can confirm this is not an issue. When you enter the connectors mode no animation data will be present so upon deleting any animated objects the animation can not be brought back.
As you said though we would always suggest regular saves during creation.
Okay, I might have been mistaken in my original post.
Its not upon repositioning connectors does this happen,
instead you have to delete the body parts.
Also, It seems to only effect that deleted part, not effecting other body parts in the hierarchy. At least, I could not reproduce that glitch.
You still cannot undo it, and the animations of the part that was deleted will be gone forever.
Luckily, I save my work regularly.
Its just slightly annoying if you accidentally delete something and then cant undo.
Here is a video.
0-15: How the animation should look
15-30: I delete the arm and then hit undo many times
30-50: broken animation
The rest shows me doing the same to left arm and body animations.
Here is the same on a default puppet
Note how it doesn't seem to effect the Inverse Kinematic animation on the left hand.
Hrm... so pressing circle to cancel "reposition connectors" doesn't just put them back?
Something to bear in mind is that FK (L2) recordings record the rotation of the joint. So if stuff about the joint changes it may invalidate the recording or something?
This has happened twice
Once the torso was a group, the other time it was a sculpt
