doorway activated output and its checkpoint keeps triggering when it shouldnt.
when i goto a scene in my creations list and in play mode the doorway activated power out keeps triggering when the doorway was never used.
doorways and their checkpoints should only activate in a dream map.
the scene is in a dream map but im not playing it in there.
is it possible that once i activated the doorway from a dream map then it will always be activated outside of the map? i cant turn it off and when the puppet dies it spawns at the door and not at the default location.
@TAPgiles if i replace the door then yes that fixes it by resetting it but as soon as i come from that doorway again and it triggers doorway activated then if i leave the dream map and enter the same scene without the dream map part it will still remember that the doorway activated is still on when really it should only work during play/testmode in the dream map not out of it.
There are cases where if you pause while a gadget has some state (eg. being "active") and then copy it, that state sticks around in the copy. Try making a brand new doorway and see if that has the same issue.
Sounds more like a bug report to me though.
The doorway has to be in your scene to have it pop up in the dream editor. So even if u play it individually it still would have the doorway.
Unless I'm not catching ahold of what you're saying.
well, when using the scene outside of the dream map doors shouldn't work because they are only connected in the dream map not out, and since the doorway has never used the checkpoint for it shouldn't trigger.
I think if it's an entry door that sort of takes the place of your default spawn location. Don't quote me though.
