Animation Sit Up Resistance
Say you are making a character do a "sit up" by repeatedly pressing a button. How would you make the animation(timeline) fall back until you continue pressing the button again.. if this makes sense
Ok awesome I was able to do it following that video, however when the puppet finishes a sit up "rep" theres no cooldown or disable controls so the puppet returns to the original state "lays back down" is there a way to do this so the player doesn't cheat the Rep Counter by continuously pressing X
Ooooh, okay. Sorry, got confused there.
Check out this tutorial, which shows how to do something like this: https://youtu.be/NCgYoExFFwQ?t=261
The way i have it now is when im mashing the X button the player begins the sit up but when I stop pressing X the puppter freezes where i stopped. Im trying to get it so when I stop pressing X the puppet eventually lays back down
Sorry, like you know when you do a sit up your body forces you to back down (due to gravity) I want the player to keep mashing the button until the player does a full sit up while that resistance is trying to pull the player back.
Not sure what you mean. You could have a single keyframe, send it a pulse when you want it to sit up, and give it slow power down so it lays back down over a little time.
To turn a button press into a pulse, put it through a signal manipulator in "pulse" mode.
