How to animate ash's arms?
I'm working with the Mm Ash model and when I animate his arms upwards to a certain height, during the playing animation they fall back down away from position, not all the way, but far enough that it is no longer in contact with objects I'm animating with.
The arms are perfectly fine during the editing animation however, which makes me think this is an in-built puppet animation that is interfering. Unless I have some settings wrong somewhere (I've made sure collide is off)
I've had a look at the in-built puppet logic and there is so much! I have no idea where to find whats going on.
A simple way would be to maybe turn off everything while my animation is running - but even that would be quite laborious to implement.
Has anyone worked with ash before and tried animating with this puppet. Does anyone know what I could do to stop his arms falling?
Sounds like another keyframe is powered that moves the arms down and it's blending (averaging out) with your animation. Look for a keyframe that is moving the arms down. Here are some tips on tracking down something like this: https://youtu.be/I6P-dejq1Zs
Most of the time it is enough to set the dolls to not movable.
If you want to turn everything off and on again, you can use a switch so that you only have to press it once in the future.
