How do i get the camera to follow?
My character basically flies but when I double tap circle to stop flying he falls obviously but the camera just stays in the air and doesn't follow him. It says that the character is out of scene because it shows the out of scene icon. Does anyone know a solution?
No worries, glad you have it sorted
The camera rig worked thanks!
Ok I was going to do that but then thought it might still cause problems
Rather than relying on the puppet default camera I'd suggest building a custom camera rig.
Plenty of user tutorials on third person camera rigs. Neonthecoder has a couple great camera rig tutorials on YouTube.
It kind of solves it however now when I fly down instead of just deactivating flight completely the camera stays in teh sky again
Yes in order to keep from dying you need to set fall height to 100 with the global option gadget
However the camera will not follow often
To force the camera to follow put a teleporter onto a platform
Make the teleported platform always be postitioned just below the player and the camera will now follow you will never touch the platform because it is always slightly too far below you, but the camera will always think you are about to land and follow you no matter what
That kind of solves it but my character flies above 100 metres so is there a way to increase it further?
Is your character dying due to the fall height.
I think a global settings gadget can be set to increase the scene fall height to prevent the character dying during a long fall.
