How do i record animated flecks
I had several different animated flecks that make 1 drawing. i want to combine these in the action recorder or a timeline but i can't figure out how. I love this game but there's so many buttons to press sometimes.
That tutorial literally shows how to draw out strokes in sequence. If they're in different paintings, you can put the animations you've set up into a timeline one after the other as CLOUD says.
You could animate them in sequence on a time line with keyframes.
At the start of each keyframe the paint stroke can be given an end point of 0 & increase this value over time to make it appear as if the stroke is being drawn from start to finish.
I know that part, still thank you for replying. but let's say i got it layered.
1 recording is the outlines, 2nd recordingis the fill-in. 3rd highlights and shadows. Is there a way to record these together or in sequence? Cause if i would make it all at once it would be out of sequence for how i want it to look. So multiple animated paintings overlapping eachother.
When you say "fleck" do you mean "painting"? Paintings are many of strokes, strokes are made of flecks. Sounds like you actually want to animate the strokes?
I have a tutorial on how to animate the strokes as if you were drawing them out. They will animate in the order you drew them in the painting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q91Ak9vlDZ4
I'll give an example of what i want to do. Its like grafitti, first i threw the sketch of the grafitti in 1 animated fleck . 2nd i filled it in. 3rd i did outline, 4th highlights shadow etc. I want to record these steps so it plays 1 to 4 but stops at the end of each and maintains the last frame. I also want it to be used by a playable character later on but first i'd like to just understand it before i go further with it.
