Third Person/First Person Puppet
I cannot get Dreams to achieve my Dreams today. I want to make a puppet that is third person by default and has a first person switch. I have tried a number of different user variants in regards to a camera set up. There is some kind of conflict between rigging up the camera, and the third person default camera for puppets. Depending on what I do, I either cannot get the rig to behave and go left right up and down, or I cannot get the third person camera to like... shut off. The reason I’m so bent about this is because I’ve created a rather multi functional puppet already, and would like to add more functionality. It seems impossible however, to simply switch camera from first to third without changing over an entire puppet or something. My Dream ID is RickyV300 and my puppet is called Metal Sword Guy w/ Inventory. Maybe someone can go in and rig it up? NeonTheCoders first person cam in Tutorial 1 was my ideal choice in setup. Idk man. I just want that Skyrim First to Third feel, but so far it’s been beyond me.
I figured it out man. Thanks to you I have realized my puppet dreams! Much appreciated your advice was crucial to the process! Thanks again man, big fan of your work.
Always feel free to leave a comment on a video if you get stuck with something, or are sturggling to understand some point.
@TAPgiles... wow hello. I watch your YouTube a lot and have done a lot of your coding.... much respect man thank you for commenting. I will watch the video you posted and see if it helps. I follow your tutorials often without success... haha. But your coding is awesome dude. I hope to figure out how to wire it properly
Wire into the camera or put it into a chip. This will lock it in.
Normally the camera will not override the built-in camera if you can't see the possessed object. So locking it in will make sure it keeps overriding. https://youtu.be/J3t3gvN5yJU
