    Hi,

The best way to do this is to go into the puppets brain, and find the jump microchip.
in there is some keframes for controling the jump, if you scope into a keyframe you go into record mode for that keyframe.
Do that for each keyframe one at a time and use it to turn of the procedural walk on the puppet tweak menu.

    Hi,

This is because each tweak can interpret a wire signal in a different way depending on what you want.
For example a slider gadget you set to go from 0-100, 0 does mean 0 but 100 will be = 1 and 50 will = 0.5.
that because 0 means not counted up 1 means fully counted up regardless of that actual number.

So if you plug a slider into a mover which you've set a speed of say 40m/s a signal of 0 will equal 0 and a signal of 1 will equal 40m/s.
So in the case with your slider if that was set to say 25 out of 100 (0.25 signal) feed into this same mover you'd get 10m/s (0.25 of 40)

But!... If you press l1(shift) and x while hovering over the input of a tweak you can change how it reads the wire.
If you set it to overwrite, it will just set it to the number it gets whatever that maybe.
And with a slider you can take various outputs so you can take the actual number it's currently at if you wire straight out of the tweak menu.

hope this makes sense, it's a bit confusing to start but it's really important as you'll find out later :)

    Hi,

objects you emit need to exist in the level so they're loaded into memory already.
But that is cheaper than having 100 versions in there already, as in only when you start emitting do they cost more than 1.

    Hi,

You can also turn down the sky horizon definition and turn up the tint to make it more uniform.

    Hi,

In this case there is no way of controlling the return speed of the camera so you'll have to get a bit creative.

If you stick a camera inside the puppet, the same as the cameras you're using elsewhere, and when you want to return to the puppet activate that camera for a split second (or the length you want the transition to be, then turn it off.
You'll get a fast transition then a final slow soft transisition, but hopefully the slow one will be going from about where the puppet's camera allready is.

    hope that helps

    Hi,

When sculpting try to use "stamp" instead of "smear" do this by opening the tools menus whilst in sculpt and select stamp.
Now you can only place down one shape at a time, this will help it stay clean.
As the previous poster mentions then use soft blend (l1 + square in sculpt mode to open the menu to add soft blend)

    Good luck

    Hi,

To stop things falling, make sure you set the tweak on them to not be moveable. else it will just fall out of the group.

As for creating your own puppet you'd have to use a huge amount of logic to animate it yourself.
It's always better to use the puppet gadget to help you in these cases unless you're really confident with the logic system.

dont forget you can use the stretch and sculpt tools to proportion the puppet into the shape you want.

    Hi,

The problem here is while the camera is getting power (from the counter) it will stay on indefinately.
What you can do in this case is grab and put the camera on the actual timeline (if you do that without letting go of grab in one move it remembers the camera viewpoint despite it now being on the timeline.
Or when you want it to end send a signal into the reset of the counter.

    Hi,

The output your measuring is always a number between 0 and 1.
1 being fully count up, 0 at the start.
So it makes sense that if it's set to 4 that 1 divided by 4 is 0.25.
What you need to do is take the output out of the top tweak called current amount.

    Hi,

I will look at the level to diagnose. In Dreams you can have a huge amount of physics so something odd is going on here that we need to understand

    Hi!

Luckily there is an alignment option in Dreams (but it's slightly hidden)
To see it in action sculpt your self a cube and duplicate it.
Then turn on the "Precise move" guide.

Then if you grab a point on one cube that you want aligning (eg. the top surface) then while moving it along one of it's axis's (as denoted by a line being drawn) press and hold shift (l1) and the line will become a bit brighter.
Now move your Imp over onto the part of the other cube that you want the surface to align.
You'll see it snap and align as the Imp hover over the other cube.
    release the buttons to place

    Hi,

You could just grab an action recorder and record yourself sliding the brightness up and down in a cool performancy way.

    hi,

This is really easy to fix.
Make sure you label your character with an appropriate label (I recommend "Friend")
Then tweak the laser scope to look for "Friend", now it will get stopped by anything not a "Friend" such as your wall.
But when it hits "Friend" it will have the output turn on to say I've seen this thing :)

    hi,

What strength is the force applier set to?
If they're set to 100% they will blast stuff instantly.
Force appliers work like fans pushing any objects withing them, so movers are better for things like vehicles ideally, else the force applier will affect things next to the vehicle.

If you could post pictures of your logic etc that will help me diagnose it.
