    It happens to me quite a lot, editing a scene, then go update an element in the scene, same result as OP. Only way to reproduce is to continue working on a scene and go edit an element source, after a few times it should trigger that bug.

    probably by design, flecks are treated individually and if a setting has speed it affects the speed of the animation, not the effect itself. That's my understanding.

    use a follower set to ludicrous speeds, don't use the tag input, but the position input of the gadget. Pretty much does the same trick as a teleporter with a transform input.

    Dreams should have arrays, string variables, object variables, vector variables, etc... Unless Mm wants Dreams to be the only game engine out there with one single type of variable. It's not viable in the long run. What I mean by vector variables are variables that can store a fat wire of transforms. That would save a lot of hassles when making saving systems. String variables by themselves are nothing without string builders that allows adding, substracting, and iterating through the string. Also Dreams needs arrays. Don't care how difficult or how much time it would require, they supposedly intend to support the game for the next 10 years. How difficult? They are professionals. They will figure it out. Others did. Voted.

    Still have no clue why this is not standard. We almost all use the timelines that way to control animations, and anything that can go on a timeline (which is all gadgets). Please I hate to have to open the whole timeline and try to click on a tiny playhead.

    It would not save any thermo, the new object will result in more surface area to compute for the new sculpt. Gameplay thermo would still go up a bit.

    Substarcting shapes moved into empty space actually really dissapear. You have to make a new one.

    Most apps and games on PS4 do not support imports that way. But you can still make your chips in a separate contraption element though, and then have it available to any elements that would use it. Cloning an element that already have the chip stamped carries the chip over.

    Seriously Mm should reconsider that change. It's a bad one, and if they say that it won't prevent us to record a full song in 15 seconds bits, then it does not hing to fight against the copyright infringers. People that use the record tool to record copyrighted music WILL get through the trouble. People that want to record playing guitar will stop doing it. It is highly unpractical to record that way. 3 minutes was, is and should always be fine for most people. Ban the offenders, that's the right way., or have them remove that content if you don't wanna use the ban hammer. Just don't hurt everyone as collateral damage. Sorry OP with that upcoming update, there will be no easy way to record vocals for music.

    People, if Mm would sit down and think about it, any solution that limits for anyone or all of us regardless on who is an actual offender is a bad thing. Just ban them.

    The only solution is to not punish everyone and actually use the ban hammer on those that go against the rules. Don't care how much people would be required, it has to be done the right way.

    not 15, not 30 seconds. Mm should simply not punish everyone because some a**holes decided it's ok to record copyrighted material. Mm should leave it as it is now, pospone that card from the roadmap and find a much better solution that only punish those criminals, not all of us.

    @mark jones that is exactly why they put such a limit. Because of people recording copyrighted music. Even if you play it yourself. You should be restricted not all of us

    I agree here. Why not just punish the offenders instead of doing the lazy thing of punishing everyone? I think there is a better way to fight against copyright infringements then penalizing the whole community. Please Mm postpone that card until you find a better solution than this

    well, they plan to reduce the recording time to 15 seconds, I seriously doubt they will bring back the import feature. People abused, we all get punished. Still I vote on that.

    And keep in mind it is a template, many people would have issues using physics cost that are too low. Templates are meant to be optimized by the user. The most important and difficult part, the rolling mechanics, is done for you.

    well this is what we call taking control of things. For most situations the default setting works just fine. It is on you to change it to your preferences. Mm cannot possibly know about all situations that people might want to use the tools. Maybe there is a good reason why the ball is not set to low physics. Thing is physics on objects is not all dedicated to the collision box shape. A lot of physics calculations are happening behind the scene. The lowest settings will have simplified physics that would be the least realistic, medium is enough to simulate it good enough, top level would be very precise and registers light touches and would be very costy.

    How to fix: reset one of the tutorials, and simply skip all the videos to the end. exit level, quest will complete

    Also how do you get to the palette-glossary page from indreams.me? You should fix that too in the user guide, or make it easier to find, plz.
